Their maintenance window will be 11:30PM, Pacific time until 5AM. We will NOT lose any network services however the loss of the link may negatively impact overall service performance resulting in higher latency traffic. We will update this notice again once the maintenance is completed and service has been returned to normal. Update 05:08: Maintenance has been completed successfully and all circuits and routes have been returned to normal. This issue is resolved. Service Affecting Outage - 2018-08-15 12:57:40 11:30 We are currently experiencing service affecting network issues from a network device. Administrators are aware of the issue and working diligently to remedy the issue. We will keep you updated as to the status of the situation. 12:58 Update: A network issue that briefly affected VoIP (TrueRing) phone service has been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience. Service Affecting Outage – Email - 2018-08-10 14:57:47 3:19PM - Foxinternet is currently experiencing an email service disruption, Admins are working to restore services. ETR is currently not available. We will update this notice as information becomes available. 6:38PM - Fox mail service has suffered a catastrophic hardware fault. This has required complete replacement and transfer of all data - this process is currently in progress. The transfer of data is estimated to complete in 4 to 5 hours. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience. 11:36PM - The transfer is taking substantially longer than first estimated as the average rate has slowed over time. Currently it is ~35% complete. We do not expect data to be fully restored for at least another 6 to 8 hours. Please note that no mail or data loss has occurred. This is the only method available that prevents data loss which is our absolute priority, which is why we've chosen to permit this process to complete despite the frustration of having to wait. We will update this notice again once the process is completed, and thank you very much for your patience. 11:20 AM - Admins are still working on restoring the fox mail system. The process should be completed shortly. 2:45PM - The data transfer completed without issue however additional hardware faults caused substantial delays. Those have all been corrected now and mail service has been fully restored. ALL mail has been successfully preserved throughout the entirety of this issue. All delayed incoming mail has been queued awaiting the return of service. Note that there are tens of thousands of emails now being delivered to their inboxes. This will unavoidably cause small delays navigating mail folders or sending and receiving. This process should not take more than an hour or two. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you all very much for your continued patience. This issue is now resolved.
